I Commend Anita Baker
For singing “Sweet Love”. Whoever helped her come up with the melody or chord changes is FANTASTIC. It’s amazing, and it just works so well melodically and harmonically. I want to sing it now.
Maybe she came up with it though, who knows? If that’s true, she’s practically amazing.

Walking Adventure
So an hour ago, as i was waiting in that van for my friend to leave the party already, I got out of the van to walk back to my own car.
The party was in Lakewood and my car was in Long Beach. Not exactly walking distance. And it was 1am mind you.
So a homeless guy on a bike was eying me as I first started walking, I stared back and I guess he freaked out and biked away. Ha! Don’t mess...

Beyonce and Justin Timberlake of course, tore it up already. :)
So Ive decided...
To take my Friday off and not work at all :) just go out and watch a movie.
But you know, that means I will barely have time to work on my piano chops to teach PST their tune! Ack…nervoussss….
My Freaky Friday
So, went to Sunny Hills high school today and sang with the top choir there. So happy to see music education growing, and seeing that these kids actually like jazz, cuz I do! :)
Then my group (acapella) Down4theCount ate lunch at a place called “Coffee Cup Cafe” in the LB. Get their frisco burger, it’s amazing.
And now, rehearsal and a senior class meeting in the foundation...
I HAVE TO GET GOING!
Everything is catching up to me! School, music, LIFE. Here we go. :)

A Moment of Grouch
Wow, I really feel grouchy right now! Like I hate the world at this very moment in time. It’s weird, because normally I don’t feel this way.
It could be a number of things:
1. Being disrupted from a planned nap. (I think this is the big one, no one likes having this happen)
2. Schedule issues for next semester. (Everyone says that in college you can create your own schedule. CRAP!)
