So it finally hit me.
It’s hard to sleep tonight. That’s why I’m not sleeping. I guess it finally dawned on me that one of aunts passed away.
Auntie Carmen was smart. She wanted to succeed. She wanted her kids to succeed. That’s what I remember most about her. Her influence in wanting me to be successful.
But it’s not just that. I learned that “life” has an ending. At least...
